About me

I am a PhD candidate in Applied Mathematics at the University of Alberta, working in the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences under the supervision of Professor Hao Wang. My research focuses on mathematical biology and dynamical systems, with an emphasis on consumer–resource interactions, behavioral plasticity, and ecological tipping points.

I am on study leave from my position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). My broader interests include ecological modelling, infectious disease dynamics, and environmental applications such as methane emissions and ecotoxicology.

Research snapshot

Personality structured consumer–resource models (PDE–ODE), stoichiometric foraging theory, and stochastic tipping under Gaussian and Lévy noise. Current work links individual level behavior and trait variation to population dynamics and ecosystem responses.
